How To Motivate Yourself In The Morning……
It's like waking up in the morning without a first cup of coffee.
(Personal motivation is highly increased whenever I do this.….!)
You may not be a coffee drinker but for those of us that are, we are very motivated for our first cup in the morning!
Coffee is like the nectar of the gods, right?!
(But…..this is way better than coffee!)
How To Motivate Yourself Without Coffee…..
It's not what you think!
If you're like me, I love waking up feeling energized!
That gets the motivation juices flowing.
But it wasn't always this way…….
I grew up Catholic.
It was 12 years of Catholic education and almost 45 years of feeling that that was the answer to all my spiritual needs or understanding.
The curiosity of and yearning for something deeper began gnawing at me consistently.
I decided to be bold and brazen and I reached out to ———————-
I had been hearing about it from many people that I followed on social media.
People who had the same yearning and after it started keeping them up at night, they discovered a simple yet powerful tool……and it was the answer.
And it is the same answer I discovered when I asked Google to research it for me!
Here is the answer it provided:
Have you ever meditated?
Does it happen to be one of your morning rituals?
Ya know, upon hearing someone's personal experience with meditation,
I have to admit, I was rather judgmental and disbelieving.
With consistent but gentle urging, I decided to immerse myself into it and just see if I had the same experience.
So, I tried a beginner's meditation………….
…………….And then I was hooked!
How To Continue To Motivate Yourself
Upon experiencing my first meditation session, I was so relaxed and convinced that this was something that was way more than what I first thought.
I was so motivated to do more and to reach that same spiritual level again and again.
It was private and it was just between the conscious me and the true me – my spirit!
Now, meditation may not seem to be something that motivates you, so I'd like to make a few suggestions on how to make your first experience be something you will want to repeat:
1. Try it! (the beginners meditation above is a great start!)
It will at least give you an example of a guided method and it will allow you to experience the focus of what meditation is all about – The ancient practice of restful awareness.
2. Make sure to choose a peaceful and undistracted place to meditate, especially when you are first getting started.
3. Choose the most quiet time of day for you. Early morning is my favorite!
Meditation is practiced by many successful people from all over the world, take for example:
* Sir Richard Branson
* Tony Robbins
* Oprah Winfrey
* Wil Smith
And many more………
How To Motivate Yourself Like A Star
Oprah Winfrey was so motivated by the personal benefits she felt she gained from meditation she spoke of how she incorporated it in her company in this excerpt from an article on the grandparents.com site:
“Oprah has been practicing meditation everyday since she invited meditation teachers to Harpo Studios in 2011 to lead the entire company together in meditation at the beginning and end of the work day.
“That way of being ‘still’ with ourselves—coming back to the center and recognizing that something is more important than you—it’s more important than the work you are doing, brings a kind of energy, an intention that we have never had before,” she has said.
The results were incredible.
Her co-workers no longer had migraines, slept better, and developed happier relationships with their friends and family, says Oprah….”
How to Motivate Yourself Consistently
So, can you begin to sense that your personal motivation would be greatly enhanced by participating in daily meditation?
I have been meditating for over 2 years and it has changed my life.
How has it changed?
Meditation introduced me to the steps I needed to take of how to reach a deeper level of awareness of my true being – my spirit within.
You really can reach an inner spot of silence. It takes concentration; dedication and the desire to know there is way more than just what we feel with our physical body!
Just keep an open mind to the real benefits of meditation as a source of intense focus on your talents and abilities.
Remember, meditation requires participation to gain the insights into the mysteries of your spirituality!
Meditation will help you to maintain a consistent method which has been proven through the ages to help you always remain motivated!
